Road in North Moorhead To Be Closed For Watermain Replacement

Moorhead Public Service (MPS) has scheduled a road closure in north Moorhead for a planned watermain replacement project. The road closure will affect sections of 14th Street from 9th Avenue North to 15th Avenue North beginning Monday, May 17.

The entire section will not be closed all at once, but will be closed in smaller sections throughout the duration of the watermain replacement project, which is anticipated to be complete on July 1. MPS will attempt to open the road each night when the work for the day is completed. Residents that use this portion of 14th Street are encouraged to find alternate routes during this time.

MPS is a community-owned utility serving the residents of Moorhead, Minnesota, with electricity and water.
